Reflection 2019

Since we’re nearing towards the end of 2019.  It’s time for some reflection and planning.

What I usually use to help remember is my planner.

I’ve personally used the passion planner for the last 3 or 4 years.  I even tried the full size one once, but shortly switched back to the small typical planner size.  On the theme of constant change and improvement, it’s time to check in on this area and see if there are better options out there.

One thing I’m looking for is a change in daily planning.  I don’t like to write about work in my planner unless it’s extremely important.  I’ve got an online calendar that I use heavily for work and notes.  Things happen quickly and I need to have access to these when I need them.  I type faster than I can write something down.

I’ve probably jotted less than 10 important meetings or days in my planner this year.  I typically keep track of personal engagements and goals.  So something at a weekly and monthly view would be nice.  So to help with planning and my vision for 2020, here comes my next mini experiment.  I’ll test out a few planners and review them for anyone that might be interested.

The planners I’ll be trying and reviewing:

  • Panda – which is supposed to be the best overall planner per Business Insider.
  • Full Focus Planner – has been heavily advertised on my social media feed.
  • The Habit Tracker from James Clear (Author of Automic Habits)
  • and of course…the Passion Planner.

Do you use a planner?  Which one do you use?  Any goals or resolutions for next year?

Any new personal finance, fire, or self improvement blogs you’d like to share? I want to know!
